Bruce Elliott
- Involved with Yellow Book since its inception
- Led project in 1993 to develop the British Rail work instructions resulting in the Yellow Book and personally wrote a significant amount of text
- Managed the Yellow Book project from 1996 to 2003, edited Yellow Books 2, 3 and 4, oversaw their publication and led the Yellow Book training programme
- Delivered the first version of the Engineers' Overview training course and has since presented it on more than 50 occasions
- Significant experience of practical engineering safety management including
senior positions in safety management teams of multi-million dollar rail and air traffic services projects in Canada and the UK
