Yellow Book 4 Engineers' Overview


The two day Yellow Book 4 Engineers' Overview training course provides project managers, line managers, engineers and others involved with changes to a railway with a detailed understanding of the fundamentals of Yellow Book Engineering Safety Management ( ESM ) and guidance on their implementation. The course is examined with a certificate given to successful candidates.

The training course is structured as seven modules. After module 1, each module introduces a number of ESM fundamentals and then explains the approach suggested by the Yellow Book to putting them into practice.

Lectures are interspersed with practical exercises to allow attendees to gain hands on experience of the techniques involved. Training is supported by comprehensive handouts, ideal for reference after the course, and also includes a personal copy of volume 1 of Yellow Book 4 and volume 2 of Yellow Book 3.
